Sporting a long, lithe figure there is something about Amaryyllispaw that screams serpentine. Though still young and figuring out how to grow into her dainty paws, her movements are sinuous and posture elegant. Cool and ever watchful olive-hued oculars implore those around her to not to judge her based on size alone.
Amaryllis certainly flaunts a soft-looking frame, perceived fragility masking a budding lean musculature. Her fur is a well kempt medium in length, a silver grey in tone nearly overrun by swirling black. Longer wisps of hair at the tips of her ears and tail, while thin, are coupled with slightly longer than average whiskers that give the apprentice an easily identifiable silhouette.

Her head habitually tilts to the side, eyes bright and open in earnest attention as she listens quietly. She mulls over her response, choosing words carefully for she knows how easily they can make or break another individual. A social butterfly Amaryllispaw easily flits from feline to feline be they young or old. Her ability to talk to anyone and everyone is something that comes natural to her, and she prides herself greatly on cultivating friendships with each of her clan-mates.
When first met, the silvery apprentice isn't the kind of cat dubbed 'threatening' or 'opposing' in the least. She is rather quiet and unassuming, content to pad along her path in life without trying to fight what the stars have in store for her. Even so, beneath her pretty face and soft appearance is an ironclad will and a steely determination that is likely to become more pronounced with age.
Amaryllis loves to learn and like a sponge she is quick to soak up every bit of information she can about the world she lives in. Her memory is wholly impressive, often leading her to spout off 'quick facts' at rather irrelevant times. Lively and easily entertained -- a good conversation or a simple trip 'round the territory is enough to satisfy her curiosity for short periods of time. More often though, she prefers to stick close to her brother's side and join him in his grandiose adventures despite how he grumbles about her tag-a-long status being 'uncool'.
Patience is a virtue that has been groomed into Amaryllispaw. With her mother and brother both being too overprotective for their own good, she's learned to more or less placate their concern with a sweet smile before going on about her day. Truth be told, while it can be an irritation at times she wouldn't know what to do without the constant pealing of motherly and brotherly concern. It's how they show their affection, and Amaryllis shows her own right back by not complaining too loudly.
While the overprotective bug has seemed to pass her by, Amaryllispaw would fight tooth and claw were one of her family members hurt. After all, her mother taught her to be a lady and ladies never start fights. But they can damn sure finish them.
At first they were many, bodies pressed tightly beside one another in an unconscious effort to stave off the unforgiving cold. Her dainty nosed pressed against soft fur, sneezing in surprise at the tickling wisps. The scent of fresh mint and milk heavily saturating the air, and then one by one the squirming forms at her side disappeared. She doesn't remember exactly how many there were until much later, tinged with sadness brought on by understanding. There were only two, now -- at least she's not alone.
As she ages she's perceived as a voice of reason to her brother's trouble-maker antics. Her pretty face and wide-eyed innocence is the perfect cover though as she more often than not is delving into adventure right by her big brother's side. She's a social butterfly, fluttering from cat to cat in a never-ending search for knowledge. She's not fragile -- no matter how many times mama says so -- a heart of fire resides inside her. Big things do come in small packages.
Apprenticeship is upon her, and mama tames her fur down quickly after spending too long on a squirming tom. They sit before their clan, her side pressed heavily into her brothers. She's nervous. This is the start of her grand adventure. Eyes drift to the right locking with bright copper, face bright and smiling. Amaryllispaw at last...
