please allow the leaders to post first before bringing in your cats.
His first gathering as the true leader of Creekclan had been one for the books. Showing up with a handful of ragged cats while the other clans towered over them in numbers. Six moons ago, they had become Creekclan once more...strong enough to attend and put their name back out there. Even then, he admittedly could have reintroduced the clan at an earlier state...but he had not felt they were ready. And some part of him would continue to feel that way present day.

The tom rose to his paws, stretching out his body as if he were readying himself for a battle. And to an extent, it was one...mentally at least. Gatherings were all about what you allowed others to see. What you allowed the other clans to know and how you presented yourselves. It was a constant challenge to choose the correct group of cats that would behave themselves and not disclose too much information.

With a sigh, Stoatstar exited his den. His eyes looked to find Pantherleap...at least his deputy was always a reliable. His powerful muscles moved to put him at the top of a downed tree in the midst of camp. "If I have spoken with you about attending the Gathering, we are leaving. Remember your manners. Honor your clan. Do not disclose anything I would not. " The words rang through the dry creek bed, strong and clear...just as he had hoped they would. Before jumping down, his tail beckoned for the select few to gather...and if they didn't, well they could stay behind for all he truly cared.

The other two clans were significantly closer in proximity to the Stumps, although Moorclan had to battle hills and Gorgeclan had a large portion of river to cross. At least Creekclan land was fairly flat and if they held a quicker pace, they were sure to arrive first. Stoatstar stopped at the camp exit for a brief moment, his eyes took a quick glance behind him at the chosen cats before they looked further back to those who still remained in camp...they will be fine, they have been thus far...

Without allowing another moment to pass, he tore his gaze away from the clan and directed it out into the forest. He traveled silently, quickly, hoping all would keep up without any complaints. As they neared the Stumps, he gave a quick glance down to the ring of mushrooms, his mother had once called it a 'fairy ring' and told him it was why the ground was marked as blessed to begin with. He passed through the ring without so much of a pause. He had already given his warning to his clan mates, and now...well now, it was time to wait for the other clans.

The ginger tabby made his way to one of the four stumps, giving a leap to perch atop it.

SPIRITSTAR
While Spiritstar could feel the buzz of energy and anticipation that often built up as the sun set and the moon rose on the night of a gathering, it barely showed as he stretched out across his favored viewing branch, staring down at the gathering feline's below. Alongside the usual anticipation, however, was a thread of uncertainty that he refused to allow into his eyes. He did not wish to worry anyone...yet this was the first gathering since the illness started cropping up. He was wary of what he ought to tell, or keep to himself. In truth, he would rather see what the other leaders said first before he announced anything of illnesses or deaths.

Spotting a light colored pelt among the cats below, Spiritstar took it as the moment to move.

With a whisk of his tail, the leader descended to the base of the trees, and strolled his way calmly toward his healer, flicking his tail as he passed the younger tom in a gesture to follow. Trusting Skywhisper to follow him just out of hearing range, Spiritstar ducked his head toward him, ensuring he kept his stance as relaxed and calm as ever. A hushed conversation from him was no strange sight, and they only got a few brief looks, more likely wondering if it was time to leave rather than what the two might be discussing.

"I want you to breach the topic of the....illness-" even now he rarely said the name it had been granted, sickened as he was by the image of the mushrooms sprouted from the hide of his fallen clanmate. "with the other medicine cats. Subtly, if you can. We do not want to cause a panic." Lingering a moment to see if the tom would have anything to add, despite knowing it was unlikely with how little the healer spoke, Spiritstar then turned his attention to the gathered feline's with voice raised and tail sweeping in an arc to draw attention.

"Remember the truce, my friends," he called to them, drawing eyes in his direction as his own seemed to sparkle in the moonlight. More than one gaze drew reflexively toward his mark. Spiritstar did not even blink at this. "What happened before is in the past, and no matter our opinions, the stars request a night of peace. I will not have any of you causing trouble." While his apparent warning carried a soothing, easy tone, there was still a weight to them that paired with the determination in his eyes.

With one last head tilt in invitation for Applecloud to join him at his side, the leader and his group took their leave.

While Moorclan was not the first to arrive, nor were they the last. Not that Spiritstar ever truly minded being the last - fashionably late was perfectly well within his agenda, just as respectfully early could be as well. However, Stoatstar often seemed determined to beat the crowd despite the distance, and Spiritstar had no qualms with it really. He could not blame the leader for his pride determination after all his clan had been through. If anything, he respected it.

With all the words he needed to say already spoken, Spiritstar spared a brief glance toward Skywhisper, and a playful wink toward Applecloud, before he padded calmly toward his respective stump and leaped cleanly on top of it. Gaze taking a brief moment to assess the mingling of the clans below, unsurprised to see there was not much, he glanced toward Stoatstar with a dip of his head and bright eyes.

"Lovely evening today," he purred by way of greeting, tail curling to settle smoothly over his paws. "How has the moon treated you, my friend?" Whether or not Stoatstar thought them friends was up in the air, truly. However, Spiritstar was not about to sit around and mope when there were better things to do and conversations to have.

Perhaps Stoatstar would have a little something to say about the Spore? The rumors of it hitting the other clans could do with some confirmation. Surely Moorclan was not truly the only one?

"The truth will set you free."
Fangstar sat calmly on the ledge where she usually called clan meetings, tail curled around her paws. Once the cats she had spoken to arrived, she stood and dropped to their level. "Remember that the Gathering is a privilege. I chose you because I thought you would best represent Gorgeclan - don't let me or your clanmates down by starting fights at the Gathering." A quick glance just to assure there were no stragglers, and Fangstar began leading the way to the Stumps.

Geographically, Gorgeclan was closest to the Blessed Stumps than any other clan. Realistically, they had to travel away from the Stumps before they were actually able to cross the water. Even if they were strong swimmers like those of Creekclan, she would not risk the lives of any cat in her clan to the Rushing Waters. They had already had a later than normal start due to a patrol not returning on time and this path ensured they would be the last to arrive.

Indeed, as the Stumps came into sight, both Creekclan and Moorclan were already situated. Fangstar tapped her tail against her deputy's side in a rare visible show of support and crossed through the fairy ring to take her spot. "Good evening," she meowed to the toms, settling into the same stance as she had while waiting for her clan to gather earlier. "Anything we need to discuss before the Gathering is called?" The usual answer was no, besides idle chatter as two leaders waited for the third to arrive. But this was a question she had been asking at least Spiritstar since before Creekclan was a clan again.

she hung back as her leader spoke to skywhisker, observing their hushed whispers. ever since their alluring meeting in the lavender feilds, applecloud had found her own amber eyes watching spiritstar's every move. something she had not realized until recently. heat boiled in her face as she waited, knowing full well he would call the cats together to select those who would be coming. she had argued against bringing his apprentice, sunpaw, letting the young tom stay in camp.

his voice of remembering the truce, caused her to huff. had this been moons ago, with bonestar at the front - she would have clawed her voice into an argument with her grandmother. but this was a new era, a new dawn so to speak. he spoke of the stars and of peace, and part of her wanted to huff in annoyance. the stars request so much, and yet - in our time of need, leave us to fend for ourselves. while part of her wanted to argue that she did not have to listen to these starry cats - part of her knew she did.

his head tilted towards her, inviting her to his side, and a small smile graced her lips. she lifted her long legs, fur sinking around her, and moved swiftly to take up her position by the leader's side. something akin to a purr seemed to slip into her throat as she padded along side the tom. part of her thinking of this has a gathering, another wanting it to be more of just them and not others. she pondered these thoughts as she moved in turn with him, each step keeping pace with the raven-colored tom.

all to soon the stumps became visible and some part of applecloud wished they had been longer in their journey. shaking those thoughts from her head, she briefly caught the wink from spiritstar, her own eyes rolling at the gesture, before he took his handsome self off into the distance. she waited, for a moment to catch her own breath and sober her thoughts, pushing those pesky images of spiritstar from her mind before she spotted the deputy of creekclan, pantherleap.

as she made her way towards the tom, she noted the scent of gorgeclan - fur instinctively leaping into the air, the she-cat forced herself to calm, as she knew under fangstar's rule they meant no harm to creekclan or moorclan. however the sight of ferretmask caused her to want to throw the whole clan out of the sacred area. nodding her head to pantherleap and now the gorgeclan deputy, she meowed a quick greeting, before turning amber colored eyes to watch stoatstar, fangstar and starclan forbid spiritstar.

The scent of unfamiliar cats hit his nostrils. The icy lithe tom approached the Stumps with caution, keeping his Clan close around him and watching carefully for stragglers. He was not too sure by what standard Spiritstar selected cats to come to the Gathering. Should MoorClan bring their best and strongest? Or was it unnecessary to be such an arrogant display of strength?[break][break]

Unsurprisingly, Spiritstar pulled him aside. Skywhisper had prepared to speak to the medicine cats anyway. The Spore was a disease that was beyond his knowledge, as much as he loathed to admit it. He simply dipped his head to Spiritstar's words. The rest had already been discussed. Avoiding panic was his specialty, Skywhisper thought silently to himself. He would walk this line carefully, a line between sharing knowledge and revealing weakness. Disease was a sensitive topic when it leaked beyond just the medicine cat's den. He watched his leader walk away, relishing the trust that had been given to him. [break][break]

He searched around for Berrybloom or Flickerfrost. Both were older than him, and always a familiar sight in the chaos of the Gathering. Did they have apprentices too now? He wondered silently. He did not want to get younger cats involved in a talk about the Spore. It was much too terrifying a disease for now. However, he did want Orchidpaw to meet the other medicine cats. [break][break]

"Orchidpaw?" he called to her as soon as he returned from his moment of privacy with Spiritstar. He had to call several times, his soft and rare voice difficult to discern in the noisy meows of other cats. "Let's look for other medicine cats."

Dawnpaw followed Pantherleap's black frame, his tail twitching impatiently even as he stumbled over tree roots and other ground obstacles. The young apprentice had not made a journey this long quite yet, and it was very exhausting. However, after his repeated badgering for Pantherleap to let him come, he had to savor this!

The scents of other cats wafted around him and Dawnpaw scanned the ranks of the cats from the back. Wow! He thought to himself. There were two other cats beside Stoutstar. Those must be the other Clan leaders. What imposing figures they were!

Shortly after, his mentor Pantherleap left his side. Dawnpaw assumed he was to join the other deputies at the base of the Stumps. Where do I go? He wondered to himself. He could not see any other apprentices.  He stood in the river of cats for a second, dumbfounded and overwhelmed. But it did not take long for the energetic tom to come out of it and resume his usual demeanor.

There had to more cats his age around here!

Orchidpaw was busy taking a quick nap before the gathering when the seventh call of her mentor finally woke her, and she sprung up like an opossom after realizing playing dead wasn’t going to work on a hungry bear. She was ready for her first gathering. Ready to show off to the other medicine cats and apprentices all her skills! That she could also kick their healer butts too, not just learn herbs! Tail held high she put on her game face, unaware of the current worries of her mentor, though even she could tell something was... off. She’s snake it out of her mentor sooner or later, not like he could really tell her no anyway. He was one of the very few cats she had respect for, though it didn’t exactly show, she cared for him in her own way. Mostly, by not insulting him like she did everyone else.

Having left she was disappointed that her mentor left her to have a private talk with the leader, though she understood... she was not yet ready, right? Just a little too young? She had only just started training after all. Perhaps they were talking bout her progress? Oh starclan was she doing a poor job? It wasn’t her fault that there were so many different herbs to learn! She would just have to push herself harder then... stronger... better... wiser! Yes! Wiser! She’d have to talk to some elders then, soak in all that... wise. Focus! Gathering. “I’m here.” She sighed up at her mentor, as he again had to call her name repeatedly. Honestly. “Let’s get this going, yeah? The sooner you’re back to teaching me herbs the sooner I get my medicine cat name!”

The burst of scents and sights of the other clans and cats were enough to make her fur begin to stand and eyes water. Lucky her than she would mingle with a group off to the side, right? With the other medicine cats? Or... perhaps talking with warrior apprentices would suit her better? Get some information? “Just don’t leave me out of the conversation this time, yeah?” She asked with a narrowed eyed look up at her mentor, a jab for his little talk with spiritstar.

Yet another dusk. Yet another gathering. By the truce of the full moon he would allow himself to mingle with cats, leaders, deputies, and warriors of other clans. To take his pride in his own clan and stuff it for a night, so long as the others also respected him, he would return it. He always gave what was due. His mood was not yet fouled by his apprentice, young Dawnpaw, as it seemed he had a large heart open for the upcoming warrior he was training. This happened with past apprentices as well, and he knew it, nothing wrong in caring about your apprentice! Shame on any mentor who doesn’t! A bond makes training so much easier, and although he knew they wouldn’t always get along, Dawnpaw at the moment was just beginning his path of life. Still... the pestering had been annoying, after already answering yes the first time he was a little stunned that Dawnpaw so quickly forgot the answer, or had someone told him he changed his mind? Oh well, a deputy’s apprentice should always attend. At least, he believed so. As it was also Dawnpaw’s first moon of training, any new apprentice to be announced should obviously be there, as a show of, hey, we’ve got more where we came from. Incase any clans were beginning to down number, or strength.

“Have fun,” was all he said to Dawnpaw, catching a glimpse of a nervous as always looking medicine cat, and the other leaders and deputies all around the base, or top, of the gathering spots. To buisness, then. He didn’t realize Dawnpaw hadn’t heard his short parting, but it didn’t much matter, Dawnpaw was smart and energetic, he’d find someone to talk to and something to do for sure, there were plenty of other apprentices at the gathering tonight, and everyone knew Dawnpaw loved to make friends... it wasnt bad to do as a young paw, but there was a worry deep in him of what would come as time went on. Don’t grow attached to faces you’ll have to scratch, Dawnpaw. He internally sighed, and did his best to hide these new found almost paternal instincts.

stoat doesn't know how to gathering
He waited. Patiently and calmly, or at least as calmly as he could portray.

Surprisingly it wasn't very long that he had to wait before another clan showed. He could sense himself grow nervous and wary...as if a battle could break out at any moment between the three clans. Granted that was moons ago, and should be at the back of his mind...but it never was when it came to these things. And he wasn't sure if it ever truly would be. Perhaps it was just a constant reminder that he only became leader because of the battles, because of his mentor's death. And thus his leadership would forever be clouded with bloodshed.

As Spiritstar approached her coaxed his mind to remember that they were just the clan who had let his fall. They hadn't done the actual, physical harm. Words entered his ears and he dipped his head in a respectful greeting. He could at least remain diplomatic. "It has treated me well...and it seems to have been kind to you as well." Stoatstar noted, attempting to keep an even and clear tone.

Now where was Fangstar? The smell caught him before his eyes identified the clan. It took willpower to not bristle up. She is not him.... the reminder nagged. In fact, Fangstar was the exact opposite of Bonestar. In reality, she was a saving grace...and the ginger tom just needed to remember that. She approached quickly, more words. "Nothing that can't be shared as news." His reply was monotone, as his eyes looked out over the group of cats. It was peaceful, as it should be.

The price of xx YOUR GREED,

your sons and your daughters
She hates Gatherings. Perhaps hate isn't a strong enough word? Maybe despise would be better. Either way, she'd rather do anything but go to yet another one, see the remains of CreekClan that her Clan scattered, see MoorClan who did nothing but sit by and watch. Knowing somewhere, sitting in the crowd, there sits a cat who murdered her parents, who murdered her mentor, a medicine cat. She wants to sink her claws into something, so filled with rage is she. But she doesn't really have a choice, she's GorgeClan's medicine cat and that is her duty. She sighs, resigning herself to her fate of another wasted night.

'Don't start any fights.' As if they had a right to. Flickerfrost sneers, turning from where they're gathered and stalking after Fangstar. She ignores the option to follow in a nice and orderly path, setting out to the side and following alongside her Clan. Her pelt smooths the closer they get, the scent of other cats reaching her and she lets out another sigh to calm herself. She'll be fine. As long as she doesn't get dragged into any lengthy conversations she doesn't want to be a part of, she can tune out as the leaders drone on about whatever and then she can go home and forget about it again until next month.

Flickerfrost trots her way into the clearing, slipping through cracks between cats until she makes her way to her seat, sitting with a slight nod to those important around her.

the journey was slow for the usually bright and quick apprentice. long black fur, almost as deep and ark as the night, fluffed out against any cold that might have settled in. he had only recently asked to become berrybloom's apprentice, since his accident left him unable to continue on the path to becoming a warrior. teeth clenched, the ten moon old apprentice waddled along just behind most of his clan mates, attempting to keep the pace with them despite the tiring efforts from his mangled leg.

'what a pity, a sight for all to see.' he thought as they entered the scarce location first before the other two clans arrived. breath coming in small, hurried gulps, the apprentice of medicine peered around the clearing for his mentor berrybloom - wondering where she had gotten to during their journeys. shaking his long pelt he glanced around at the other felines, noting that he could not spot the medicine cat's apprentice of gorgeclan - one he knew only because she was seven moons old and had already been in the position before.

he knew the medicine cats based on his brief explanation of them upon his first couple of gatherings. his eyes finally caught sight of skywhisker and an apprentice not to far off, and wondered if this she-kit was his new apprentice, or a pesky apprentice bothering him. huffing, still unable to spot berrybloom in the growing crowd, spiderpaw made for the next best thing. waddling with his limp leg he moved with awkward movements towards skywhisker and this... she-kit, catching the tail end of their conversation - of being left out of a conversation.

'ah, so this must be his apprentice. new i take it.' the tom cat thought as he tried to make contact with skywhisker's eye - seeking some sort of acknowledgement before giving up on the kind gesture all together. "excuse me. i'm looking for my mentor berrybloom. have you seen her?" the tom asked to the apprentice and medicine cat in question. his eyes sweeping over to spot other medicine cats settling down near each other.

SPIRITSTAR
To say Spiritstar expected a friendly receival from the Creekclan leader was not really true. He knew his own implication of friendship between them was a falsehood - after all, the Creekclan leader may acknowledge it was not Moorclan that felled them, but no doubt he still blamed them for standing aside and letting it happen. Understandably, for Spiritstar had hated every moment of it too. Unfortunately, as Spiritsong he did not have nearly as much say in the path his clan would lead, and without a direct accusation from the leader for him to correct...undoubtedly the icy formality was there to simply remain as it was.

To try and change it without reason would be pointless. Suspicions remained too high.

Stoatstar's comment, though, saw Spiritstar carrying his gaze calmly out over the gathered cats below, so as to hold himself from tensing at how false that was. There were two clanmates that would never set paw here again - to call it a good moon would be to call leafbare greenleaf or Bonestar a saint. However, that was not something to be shared right now. He had made his attempt at information and received naught - so he would wait.

"As well as any other," he mused vaguely, for the moons were far from consistent. Gorgeclan was a living proof of that as they strolled in. While not the newest leader of the group, it was Gorgeclan that still received the most judgment, and even Fangstar had yet to gain full trust. Still, at the very least Spiritstar could respect her, for no matter how long it took, at least she was among those that took a stand, and it was she who returned the clans to themselves and their lands. Trust was not an easy feat, but he could recognize well enough that she was not the flaws of her clan's past.

Thus, it was not her, but her entourage that his gaze narrowed over for a moment. There was always a skepticism to who Gorgeclan might bring, but Fangstar was often careful it would seem. Though in that caution rose the question as to how many traitors she was allowing to remain.

Not matter what respect their leader may earn, Gorgeclan was still a wild card.

Either way, the raven tom showed no tension as he greeted the molly, ears pricking to catch the question that was always granted even before Creekclan's return. He chuckled, amusement flickering in his gaze. "Eager as always I see," he purred out, uncaring as ever for what they thought of him. It was better they saw him as a fool than a threat. The loser their guard the more he could learn - his clan's safety came first above all. "However, I suppose the whole gathering deserves to know what we have to say, do they not? Unless, perhaps...there was something you would like to discuss?"

Curiosity hinting in his gaze, the tom shifted on his perch to peer across at the Gorgeclanner. Did she have experience wit the illness, perhaps? Most leader's tended to be tighter-lipped on information that could imply weakness, however Fangstar was an interesting brand in that she valued honesty above all.

It meant perhaps she was a better source of information.

"The truth will set you free."
Stoic as always, Stoatstar. She could rely on that as a constant, at least. Fangstar wasn't quite sure whether to take his answer as a rebuke or comment and so ignored it beyond a simple hum to show she heard. Spiritstar, at least, seemed to be willing to chat. Or was he digging for information? Her eyes flicked over to stare narrowly at him for a moment. She weighed her options of revealing information now to the other leaders or following her original plan of saying nothing until something else happened.

She hadn't noticed anyone bothering the medicine cats over odd illnesses. She hadn't, certainly, believing it to be something that happened once and never again.

But Fangstar also wanted to keep her slowly budding reputation for honesty. Perhaps not the full truth, then? She spoke clearly but in a softer voice meant just for the other leaders, her hesitation in answering obvious. "There is a strange smell in the Gorge. We don't know where it is originating but it is so far harmless." Truth, for the musty scent that affected her, for not knowing its origins, for no harm coming from the scent itself. "I do believe it is time to start the Gathering now, however. Stoatstar? You were the first to arrive, I assume you are willing to be the first to speak."

stoat doesn't know how to gathering
Stoatstar sat, quite stoically as he listened to the small talk between the other two leaders.

It seemed that Spiritstar wouldn't be sharing anything discreetly, and well...Fangstar on the other hand had something that piqued his curiosity. A strange smell? While he himself had not come across any firsthand, Dawnpaw had mentioned something about an odd odor when he had come down with his nosebleed in Berrybloom's den. He was lost in thought momentarily, pondering if they could possibly be related.

But Fangstar's voice drew him back and he nodded curtly. "It would be fitting." While his voice was monotone, the tom nodded to her and let his tail wrap loosely around his paws. His posture straightened as he looked out over the group of cats. Voices intertwined with each other, and part of him felt a pang of guilt for interrupting the conversations that were likely now getting interesting.

He cleared his throat quiet loudly before closing his eyes for a brief moment. His mind moved quicker than he liked at times, and right now it needed to quiet down. "Cats of all clans.." his voice rang clearly over the group, as he paused momentarily for silence... Creekclan is strong, prey is holding steady as we approach leaf-bare. Our apprentices are training hard as our warriors show strength we have not seen since the days of old."

While he didn't have to boast and pridefully talk about his clan, he preferred to leave all possibly concerns of Creekclan's strength, or weakness, behind. "Berrybloom has recently taken on Spiderpaw as her apprentice. And we have welcomed Snap-paw, Fishpaw, and Mellowpaw as Creekclan apprentices." Satisfied with the words he had spoken, and no mention of the illness needed he looked back to Spiritstar before flicking his tail to hand over the reins.

SPIRITSTAR
For once, surprise managed to alter Spiritstar's usually easygoing public facade, ears settling back just slightly as it flashed through his eyes. A strange scent? However, before he could inquire more, the Gorgeclan leader had already moved on to speaking with Stoatstar, effectively silencing the youngest of the trio.

Maw falling shut, the tom let his gaze drift across the clearing once more.

"Let us hope it stays that way," he murmured, mostly to himself. If her choice of words and Stoatstar's own intrigued response were of any clarification, the other two leaders knew even less than he did. 'Let's hope the rumors are false, then,' he mused silently. 'I would not wish that sickness on anyone without a cure.'

Perhaps, then, it was best to leave to the medicine cats to discuss. If needed, he could arrange a private meeting among the leaders and medicine cats later on if it became a concern among all three of the clans. Until then...perhaps it was their own burden to bare, and they would just have to hope Tallstep's fall was the last it would show it's face.

Somehow, as he noted the two absences so plainly, he doubted that.

By the time Stoatstar began to speak, Spiritstar looked just as at ease as he often did at gatherings, his ears pricking to listen, though not surprised to hear nothing of note. Even if Creekclan did have The Spore, Spiritstar doubted Stoatstar would tell of it. Fangstar really had been his only chance for information among the leaders, and perhaps that had turned up naught.

At the signal to take his turn, the raven leader dipped his head respectfully to the older tom, before allowing his gaze to drift from Stoatstar to the rest of Creekclan whilst he spoke. "It is pleasing to hear that Creekclan's strength is recovering so well, I hope that leafbare is not too harsh on your clan this coming moon," he began, not a hint of dishonesty in his tone nor his eyes. After all, by the way he himself had abhorred the treatment of Creekclan and Harestar's own refusal to stand alongside them or even her own clanmates against Bonestar, any news that the other clans were returning to the states they once held in their former times of peace was relieving.

He just had to hope this sickness was not a new thing to drive them further apart.

Gaze adjusting to take in the rest of the gathered cats, as though speaking to each of them at once, Spiritstar continued with pride edging into his tone. "Moorclan too is holding strong, and we are proud to welcome Robinflight as a newly named warrior among our ranks, and Orchidpaw as Skywhisper's new apprentice."

The tom awaited patiently for the echoes of the names he had called to die down, before he stepped back and sat down to indicate it was Fangstar's turn to speak. "All yours," he offered smoothly, before lowering his voice for only her to hear, aiming for just one more chance at information. "Perhaps you might tell us more of this mysterious scent? It could be a good thing to keep aware of."
